Refurbishment
We experienced many cases of malfunctioning in treatment plants or of removal efficiencies lower than designed values. Typical malfunctioning of treatment wetlands consists of clogging, nuisances, or not uniform plant development. The reasons behind a treatment wetland malfunctioning can be many, from design mistakes to oversizing, from changing in influent load characteristics to ageing.
On the other hands, our experience suggests that, in the majority of the cases, few and simple refurbishment activities are sufficient to restore the proper functioning of treatment plants. In other cases, the treatment plant can be refurbished with most complicated activities or an upgrade is necessary.
Thanks to the experience gained both following our designed systems and working on existing treatment plants, IRIDRA can propose the best refurbishment solutions to clients having issues with treatment plants.
